Damn. Seems more trouble than it is worth. I think I'll just upgrade my boot up HD to the largest HD I can afford. Apple has to make this easier for the end user.Well, I've got a 7200RPM external drive and it isn't really any trouble.

I'm predicting that AAPL will lose some points after they actually come out with the report and it takes away from some of their profits. After that happens, I'm planning on buying about six shares. I think Apple as a company has a lot of room to grow. What do you guys think?

Hi,
The sound isn't working on my friend's 13 inch macbook pro from 2010 while running boot camp. It's running Windows Vista 32-bit and I've installed the boot camp drivers.
I tried this: http://realitypod.com/2010/07/macbook-pro-no-sound-in-windows-7-final-fix/#comments But it doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Wait, so you just have to tap the buttons on screen to the rhythm� and you are all excited by this?

It�s going to be as fun and involving as challenging yourself to write a sentence as fast as you can in the message app.

I take it you don't play rock band.

This is basically the way the game is on other platforms too ( though you could argue that tapping on the screen might be slight easier for beginners )

The thing I want to know is whether playing the game will be synchronized with other players. I would think this would be rather pointless if not.

Since I am seriously consider the idea tonight, I cannot get to an Apple dealer until tmrw afternoon.

Is the height of the 20" (listed by Apple@16.1in) on the stand? Ditto for 23" listed at 17.7in. My desk shelves may decide afterall....

I am selling my iPhone as I am going travelling and need the money for air fairs etc...

Was thinking something around �350 - 400 ($700-800) inc postage due to quality of the phone and the fact that it is the original 8GB version, with lots of apps and full working services (even the voicemail button will go to your voicemail).

The final step to the cursed iBook's cleansing has been completed...

After deleteing the iTunes folder... and iTunes- and then reinstalling it and ripping his music from his iPod, things seem to be back to normal.

That... as well as the archive and install seemed to clean up things.

I and the iBook owner thank you for your time, talent, and typing.

I've been trying to encrypt my hard drive and it keeps getting stuck at the same exact point i tried to re install everything ect

and it keep doing the same thing

anyone knows what i could do to fix it

Don't install a Dev Preview that you downloaded from Demonoid. That would probably be a great place to start fixing that issue.

thats fairly normal, its a apple laptop so the price is low no matter how high the price is , to get a apple laptop people are willing to pay any price , in comparison with their desktop counterparts which are not even worth the postage to some ,
its the same here in the uk , while the G4 PowerMac's, G4 mini's,G4 iMac's dropped recently dramatically the iBooks and Powerbooks are priced much higher , there are people who try to get for a white iBook G3 near �200 ,that are $320 and you need to pay that if you want a fully working one with a battery that still holds some charge
