Okay, this guy must live in a "garden" apartment or something. I live in NYC and the only place I drop calls 100% of the time is near the Verizon building by the Brooklyn Bridge. Irony of ironies.
But my dropped call percentage is less that 5%.

Agreed. Where's the selling point?

Got tired of the lime green one...I'll get it back out sometime and switch back but for now, I'm ready for sleek black.
Love this case, btw.
Oh and...

I'll make the assumption that I'm going to lose the vote so I'll get some last analysis in while I can.
Make note of the people who voted for me.
Jav - Still not sure if he voted for me to silence me or because he was still mad at me for the last game. He is acting (voting) the same way he did last game.
Based on the above info, UCF is the best probability of getting a WW tomorrow. If UCF is a WW, then it's most likely that either Nies or Eldiablojoe is the other one.
Hardly voting same way as last time. Also, I'm voting against you for previously stated reasons. When the game started I got my PM which was also sent to you. Because of that (me wanting to feel special it was a unique own PM) I vote for you this game.
However people didn't get the joke. As per silencing you, meh... Could care less since I am no wolf, not that I can prove that in any way or form.

To become a relevant team, we need to reach 250k units per day, almost double the current rate. We need 70 more iMacs/MacBooks or 5 8-core systems.
well i doubt that will happen over night. we just gotta try and get better one step at a time

Let me correct myself... I didn't mean to say occupy, I meant that we have troops in US bases in over 200 countries.
Interesting, considering there are only 194 recognized countries on Earth. Which planet are the other 6 countries located on?

I personally believe these days that the look of the phone comes secondary to what is "under the hood".
Yes it helps if it's a good shape with a good screen but if Apple continue to release devices that a technically better the the rest then people will lap it up - the death grip didnt stop so many iPhone 4s being sold did it - people accepted it as the device packed a punch
People buy iPhones because they work well, look good, and are cool/in. I would say that 80% of the iPhone buying world doesn't give a damn what's "under the hood." I fail to see how you could possibly think otherwise.

How are you going to reduce the number of cables? It seems like you would still need the same number of cables.
reducing the number of cables connected to his computer is what he would be doing. Just one TB could possibly handle all of the cables through a hub.

Guys, which one should I get?
I've been trying to score an iPad2 and now here comes the new ix.Mac.MarketingName, which sounds awesome! So between this and iPad2, ATV2, Air, MBP, iPhone, Mac Pro, Nano and iMac, what should I get?
Mostly I would use this for web surfing and light photo editing, but it also needs to dry laundry and serve as daily transportation for my 8 mile commute. But, I'm worried the new ix.Mac.MarketingName requires Z-rated tires, which are quite expensive. I'm also curious whether, with the right apps, the ix.Mac.MarketingName can serve as a prophylactic or if it's better to have a dedicated device for that.
Thanks for the laugh Cheerwino! You had me in stitches. :)

We've alreaddy seen threads entitled "Waiting for Santa Rosa" though, I think this will be a never ending cycle under intel. :(
Yeah, and forget the 8 core Cloverton... now we're waiting on 16 cores with Tigerton: http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=4659
It sure beats Motorola/IBM's PowerPC slow update schedule. ;)

I own both the Mighty Mouse and the Apple Bluetooth mouse. When I use the Bluetooth mouse, I am constantly looking for some kind of scrolling mechanism and right-click functionality.
Rant done, I would gladly ebay my Bluetooth mouse for this Mighty Bluetooth version. Hope it comes out sooner than later.

Am I wrong?
we have to wait until ifixit teardown.
are these low power CPUs are standard CPUs under clocked.
anyway apple is using >$175 CPUs in all the iMac, just a variety in each model ...

I don't know but is the Adware related to this:
Sometimes when I download videos from LimeWire, and run then it will bring up a browser window and open a site. Essentially an ad. Do this supposed hole cause this?
Apple definitely needs to get more serious about security. As more people start to buy Macs, more people will start to tinker and find holes. I hope Apple will rise to the challenge.

Hmm, modal software. This used to be a very undesirable characteristic, a violation of the Mac interface guidelines. I don't see the problem with the way Pages handles layouts and word processing now. It sounds like Apple may be caving into the critics who want Pages to be more like Word. I hope not.

What doesn't Amazon sell? toilet paper, tampons, tooth paste, and it is worth 80 billion, when it should be worth 1 billion. It is an uninspired discounter, like online-Walmart.
On Amazon you can buy used comic books, used read softcover novels, used 10 year old PaperMate pens, it is like a giant flea market.
They need sales and prestige to keep up their scam.
High valuations should belong to high tech companies. Amazon says the Kindle is their heart, when it represents less than 0.1% of its sales.
On Amazon they sell fertilizer made from dung.
Apple is instead a high tech company. It makes money by selling high advanced technology.
Unlike Amazon, which has no research and development budget (how much research do you need to carry Q-tips and tampons?), Apple is not a scam. It is what it says it ism a high tech edge company. Amazon says the same, but it is sad flea market selling dirty used bird feeders.
This post is wrong on so many levels - it's not even worth addressing its points other than to say it's wrong. Especially the notion that Amazon has no research and development budget. Yeah. OK.
