That sounds quite basic to me. Using the Java servlets API or the various Cocoa frameworks are hardly advanced.
Advanced programming is generally centred around writing your own unique software for which there are no existing solutions.

My main experience now is just education and I'd like to dig deeper into these frameworks out there that are used to work on a project that might gain me experience to show employers. Are there advantages to learning one framework over another or should I just pick one and go with it? My suggestion (since this is a subject I am very familiar with myself) would be to pick a language / framework and become as knowledgeable in that chosen framework as you can be. If you spend time contributing to the various mailing lists / forums / newsgroups of that framework people will notice you and you will be able to point to perspective employers showing them your expertise (and your enthusiasm as you will be doing this unpaid in your spare time obviously for a fair while). Also try and contribute code to the framework in question. Nothing shouts "expert" more than a code contributor to perspective employers (no matter if it is true or not).
Personally I tend to stick with C, Objective-C and Python (Django).

Chillin in the reservation line. This is crazy how many people showed up.
I showed up about 3:50am and found a line with 100 or more people. With the supply issue I don't they have that many for walk-ins so I came back home and went to bed. It will be interesting to see if anyone post how many they had non-reserved.

I have an Emac that turns on, but doesn't start properly; the screen stays black and the fan is working. It used to beep/flash a light a couple of times to indicate what was wrong (unfortunately I don't remember how many times, but sort of remember looking up what it meant - I think it was a motherboard or CPU issue), but the beeping/flashing and chiming stopped.
Has anyone dealt with a similar issue and what was wrong with your Emac?

Its also the buggiest thing on the OS, it disables typing after a few minutes, doesnt want to load web pages some times, and everytime you skip around in a flash video it starts it as a new download without killing the old one meaning youll end up with a bunch of FLV's being downloaded at the same time killing your bandwidth and having your video stopped on sites that dont allow multiple connections.
I agree. While I love how fast it is, I keep having scrolling issues when there are multiple tabs open. I have to reload a tab in order to get scrolling to come back. Anyone having a similar issue?

Never hurts to drop off your resume to one of the store's managers. Ask for the "Store Leader" though as that is the main store manager and usually has the final say about the hiring.

There aren't a lot of unique layouts Microsoft could have used. It doesn't look unique, but neither did iTunes Store layout.

i spilled vine in mine and took everything apart and dipped in alcohol 95% or more(motherboard and keyboard and fan) and cleaned it with a toothbrush ,let it dry and put it back, is been 4 months now and everything works fine.

Thanks for the responses, i'll do a full restore tonight to see if it has any effects on the battery life, I don't want to turn off the push notifications and push email unless I have too.
it could be that I am in a no service area for most of the day and the phone keeps trying to get the service so maybe I just need to switch it into airplane mode whenever I have no service.

These images look more closely like concept for the next iPod Touch, NOT the next iPhone. Where's the silence switch? Why would it be a curved back? Why the hell would there be a metal back? Where are the Cameras? I'd honestly go Android and never look back in the next iPhone looked like this.

I don't shoot weddings but can imagine how stressful that would be. But I loved the bit about the day being more about celebrarption than ceremony. Ironic part is, by trying to defend this law the republicans are just speeding up the whole process of it going to court and having it ruled unconstitutional. So thanks to republicans, the Feds may soon be recognizing gay marriages! Who would have thought?

In OS X you can literally control just about any aspect of the the operating system via terminal. I would argue that an expert *nix user has more "unrestricted control" over OS X than an expert windows user can have under XP.
I am sure many OSX Server admins will disagree with you on this one.
